Linkin Park is an American rock band from Agoura Hills, California formed in 1996. The band is known for its nu metal and rap metal.The band was formerly known as Xero then with the entry of the lead vocalist Chester Bennington. After reformation the band released their first breakthroug album 'Hybrid Theory' in 2000. Followed by it 'Meteora' in 2002, 'Minutes to Midnight' in 2006, 'A New Thousands Suns' in 2008. The band is now left with its six present members Rob Bourdon in drums,Brad Delson in lead guitar,Dave "Phoenix" Farrell in bass guitar,Joe Hahn in turntables, keyboard, samples, backing vocals, Mike Shinoda in vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboard and production and Chester Bennington in vocals.
